Shadow Over Avalon is on the shortlist for the People’s Book Prize. To go any further in this competition it needs votes from readers. If you have a spare moment, I would be thrilled if you would consider voting for my book. Here is the linkhttp://www.peoplesbookprize.com/book.php?id=1096

Woo Hoo! Does Happy dance.
The plot unwinds spectacularly, and the author manages to keep the book fast paced and exciting, while developing her characters. The strengths and weaknesses of each character are explored. You feel pity for those that circumstances changed for the worse and sadness for those who got affected by the change. I love her style of writing, it kept me glued to the book.
A reunion, betrayal, survival and promises of new adventures to come and new possibilities to explore! C.N.Lesley ends her book on a note of suspense, leaving us waiting to know what happens next. Applause for the author on her own timeless tale!
Shadow Over Avalon
Well that was a nice way to start my day. Thank you so much to wonderful people from the U.K.

Decisions, decisions.
Alrighty then, I have the stats in from Wattpad. I already know my contractual obligations and I will be working on those, which are not posted on that site. I wanted a third runner to work with alongside those. Angelus it is. This is a pure sci fi and is a tad different. No surprises there, coming from me. LOL.
For some obscure reason, I need to work on three at once. Three is the magic number as it is the maximum I can load on my wide screen monitor and still have a good view. I find the need to jump from one story to another and I get a lot more wordage written in that way instead of concentrating on just one. My goal is to get two finished into first draft by the end of March. I am so serious about this that I will be limiting my time on social media until this is accomplished.
Works in Progress
I have a few chapters of each book up on wattpad. Go here if you want a sneak peak. http://www.wattpad.com/user/ElizabethHull
Arthur has always been a loner, set apart by his exceptional telepathy skills. He doesn’t want the life of a Seer in the undersea city of Avalon. He wants to use his skills to fight the overlords on the surface world, who are subjugating humanity, but to do that he must register as normal. What is normal for a man without a clue who his parents were, or maybe are? Why are his birth records sealed?
Curious about the lives of the slave people on the surface, he begins the study of one who escaped. Once highly placed, Shadow has become a mercenary serving Avalon to fight the beast overlords. The deeper he gets into her life, the more he attracts the attention he doesn’t want. What was once a fun diversion from his Seer studies now takes on deadly overtones. Someone is lying. It could cost him more than his life.

As promised, a tiny snippet.
This is from Shadow Over Avalon and you will not get this from the Amazon extract.
Ector flinched. “Why is this girl the only one we found with any idea of Nestines? Why didn’t she react to us with the usual Terran panic? We may have picked up an unexpected advantage, Tarvi. One I’d be a fool to overlook.”
“Nestine ship to the West,” Suki called, from the edge of the lake. “They seem to think there’s something out there worth landing for,” Ector said, watching the bright disc descending. “Cut that animal free from reins, and then it’s time to leave.”
Ector scooped up the Terran, throwing her over his shoulder. With his unit behind, he headed out into the lake depths.

The copper horse whuffled night air, puzzled at the sudden quiet. It pricked up its ears, heading home when pink glints of dawn light rose over the horizon. Midnight-colored eyes faded back into rock as the lonely bark of a dog-fox cut through sleepy silence while ripples calmed on dark water.
Shadow Over Avalon now available from Kobo.
At last, my book is finally available in Kobo. Many thanks to my publishers for making this happen.
The good, the bad and the wonderful!
The good is that my office reno is progressing and I expect to finish this weekend. I also expect to finish my picture of a Green Man for my office wall. If I can find my camara, I will post a picture of this. It got lost in the renos.
The bad is certain people, who are professionals, told lies. This is causing me a lot of stress when it should have been a slam dunk and no, this isn’t writing related. The result was that I had to light a cyber bomb under that person’s ass and report them to their boss, who is now doing damage control. The people he needs to liaise with are out of the office until Monday. More stress. Added to which, I stupidly let one of my paint rollers dry up and this has put my reno back to the weekend.
The wonderful? Awesome people are collecting their pre-orders of signed copies of Shadow Over Avalon. I shall soon be able to remit money owing to my publisher for these units. Incidentally, the lion’s share goes to the printers, who have done a wonderful job with the printing and translation of the cover work. Much thanks to Eveliin Enorkson and Ken Dawson for a fantastic cover. So what is this book about?
Avalon conjures up images of King Arthur. At the end of the legend, he was mortally wounded by Mordred and with his last breath, he promised to return at the time of his people’s greatest need. Now fast forward into the far future where there are methods of extracting D.N.A from peripheral descendants. The newly created person is not connected to his past, excepting for fleeting dream images of ancient times. He gradually becomes aware of his purpose and those who would thwart it. Nothing is as it seems. The stakes are the survival of humanity faced with unspeakable odds. Can Arthur achieve his ultimate purpose, or will he succumb to the plans of a hidden enemy? This is not about what happened before: this is what happens next. This epic length book is not for the faint of heart. Lives are broken. Romances shattered. Life continues, or does it?
Shadow Over Avalon is the first book of a series. The next book, Sword of Shadows, is due for release by Kristell Ink next in 2014. The saga continues.
The ultimate cut.
What happens when everything, including their name, is taken away from a person? What happens when those memories start to return and the person knows what they have lost? Rage builds, for there is nothing of value left to lose. A killer is born, and yet can they be salvaged? Should they be salvaged? And how does this impact on a beleaguered humanity with only one last chance left for freedom? The stakes are terminal. Failure cannot be an option, or hope will be gone. How does this resolve? Who will win and who will lose? Find out now in Shadow Over Avalon
